Housing
AIM offers a range of accommodations in Spain. Homestays and Apartments are the most popular type of accommodations.
Apartments
AIM contracts a range of shared flats around Madrid. Students can expect up to a thiry-minute commute by public transportation as most apartments are not in the city center. By being further out of the city, students will have access to markets, laundry facilities, and Internet cafes, living like most people in Madrid.

Homestays
Students will live with a local family which has been carefully screened by the AIM housing officer. Homestays are an ideal way to connect to the local culture and customs. Generally homestays include half board (breakfast and dinner), but they can also include full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
In Madrid the majority of the homestays are near the city center. Students will commute to class by metro or bus the average commute is approximately 20 min.
